Aurora Melbourne Central
Aurora Melbourne Central is a residential skyscraper developed by Malaysian–based UEM Sunrise and designed by Elenberg Fraser.
The project was first proposed in 2014, and received approval in October 2014. Previously named 224-252 La Trobe Street, after the address of the 3,197m² site, the project was later renamed to Aurora Melbourne Central after the natural light display Aurora Australis.
Completed in September, the development reaches 289 metres in height, making it the second-tallest building in Melbourne, behind the Eureka Tower. Aurora comprises of 959 residential apartments, including 252 serviced apartments across 88 storeys, making it one of the biggest residential buildings in Australia.
Scope
As the development’s Cadastral Surveyors, Veris Australia were responsible for the following service delivery:
- Re-establishment Survey
- Feature and Level Survey
- Subdivision pursuant to Section 37 Subdivision Act
- Owner Corporation and schedules.
