Aston Estate
Located 25km north of Melbourne’s CBD at Craigieburn, the Aston Estate by PEET is an award-winning 1,700 lot Master Planned Community showcasing the very best of tight-knit community feeling that offers the benefits of living close to everyday needs of shops, childcare, schools and sports precincts.
Incorporating over 20ha of combined Active and Open Spaces, including landscaped wetland reserves, the Estate provides the sporting and recreational amenity expected within modern community living. Commenced in 2009, the Aston Estate was completed in late 2019 with plans already underway to expand the Estate through adjacent land holdings to the west. In 2020, the Aston Estate was awarded the UDIA Victoria 2020 Best Masterplanned Development.
Scope
As the development’s Survey Consultant, Veris Australia, was responsible for the following service delivery on the estate:
- 150ha Feature and Level Surveys
- Re-establishment Surveys
- Urban Design layouts
- Preparation of formal Plan of Subdivisions and submission to Council
- Subdivision process up to title registration at Land Use Victoria
- Land tenure advice and completion of Plan statutory requirements.
To the west of the Estate, is another Peet-owned land-holding of approximately 61 hectares. Upon approval of the relevant planning framework, this land is anticipated to be developed into an additional 900 allotments, enabling a continuation of the community well into the foreseeable future.
