Veris Shines at the Tasmanian Geospatial Excellence Awards 2023
At the Tasmanian Geospatial Excellence Awards held on Friday 1st September 2023, Veris accepted not one but two prestigious awards for the Company’s exceptional projects.
First up, Veris received the Geospatial Enablement Award, for their notable work on the Hobart Rivulet Digital Twin. This recognition celebrates projects where the application of geospatial information, methodology and/or tools has greatly improved the outcomes of a non-geospatial project, process or product.
Additionally, Veris’ dedication to excellence was reaffirmed as the team proudly received the Technical Excellence Award for the North-West Coast Underwater Bridge Inspections Project. This award acknowledges surveying and spatial projects that apply existing technology and methodologies to an exceptionally high technical standard, overcoming significant challenges, and delivering outstanding results for the client.
“When I consider our projects winning these categories, it’s fantastic to see how closely aligned they are to our values, specifically Delivering our Best, Finding Solutions and Working Together”, said Michael Shirley, Managing Director and CEO.
Veris continue to push the boundaries of geospatial excellence, and these awards are a testament to the Company’s commitment to delivering superior solutions and setting new benchmarks in the industry.
